Flipbook animation, right in your browser
Made in Flipghost
Real projects, drawn frame by frame. Hover to play, then open one in the workshop and take it apart.
Everything in the workshop
The whole tool, on one screen. No panels to hunt through, no modes to learn.
See the frames either side of the one you're drawing.
up to, per animation
12, 24 or 30
Square, widescreen, vertical, or print sizes.
Four steps, start to finish
From a blank canvas to a file you can post, without leaving the tab.
Draw a frame
Open a canvas and put down your first mark. A brush, an eraser, and nothing else in the way.
Ghost the next one
Onion skinning drops the neighbouring frames underneath, tinted, so every in-between lands on the arc.
Flip it back
Play the strip at 12, 24 or 30 fps. Scrub, reorder, and duplicate until the motion reads right.
Take it with you
Render a looping GIF or an MP4 straight in the browser, at the full resolution of your canvas.
Draw between the ghosts
The frames either side of your current one sit underneath it, tinted and dimmed, so every in-between lands where it should.
- Red for the frames behind, green for the ones ahead
- Ghost up to three frames on each side
- Dial the opacity to taste
Only the tools you reach for
A brush, an eraser, a colour, and a way to move things. Nothing to learn, nothing in the way.
Your flipbook, laid out flat
Every frame in a strip you can scrub, reorder, duplicate, or delete. Drag one and the rest shuffle around it.
- Drag and drop to reorder
- Duplicate a frame to build on it
- Play back at 12, 24 or 30 fps
Finish in the browser
Rendering happens on your machine, not a server queue. Hit export and your file downloads at full resolution.
Sized for wherever it lands
Start square for a feed, widescreen for a title card, or A4 if it's going to paper. Exports render at the preset's full resolution.
Pick up where you left off
Sign in and every project saves itself as you draw, then waits for you on any machine you open next.
- Autosaves while you work
- Open any project from your dashboard
- Import a reference image to trace
Hands stay on the keys
Every tool and every frame is one keystroke away, and you can rebind any of them to whatever your hands already know.
Open a canvas and start flipping
No installs, no setup, no account needed to try it. Your first frame is one click away.
